I'm not pregnant: Survey denial of pregnancy Gaëlle Guernalec-Levy

I'm not pregnant
In the summer of 2006, Courjault case gave a sudden spotlight on a phenomenon hitherto unknown to most of us, yet well known to some gynecologists, psychiatrists and general practitioners. How pregnancy can it remain invisible to the end? How can women ignore their birth until they are pregnant? How some of these mothers can they go to commit infanticide? It would be wrong to believe that the problem affects only women who do not want children, mentally ill or ignorant teenagers. No: the denial of pregnancy for all women, even those who are already mothers. Paradoxical in societies like ours, which is worshiped by the pregnant woman and scrutinize the maternity fertilization to birth, the phenomenon reflects the fact that pregnancy can not be reduced to a purely physiological event is rather a process complex that involves the whole human being, with its history, its shadows and its relationship to others.

THE DRAWINGS KIDS YOU SPEAK Edwige Antier

What are these forms, these colors sometimes violent, often mysterious, invading the drawings of our children? They express discomfort? Or are they the normal expression of their psychological development? Edwige Antier commented drawings of children from two to twelve years together thematically and by age: step by step, she explains accurately, reassuring words, the possible significance of the sun, for example, a house shuttered, a head with eyes closed - but simplify them, allowing for the family context, the recipient of the drawing ... In an inspired approach Dolto, it evokes fears, desires, hopes child and everything that shapes its identity. A beautiful book full of colors, essential and accessible for all parents interested in their child's development.
