New

Yes, I admit, the blog is a little drop!
The months of July and August were difficult to manage due to health problems for which I took a while to get back (it slowly getting better)
The return with the children, the paperwork to help my daughter and the whole shebang were passed in September at breakneck speed!

But no, I did not stop reading.
You have seen some of my columns have been removed from the blog, there remains about a link to the website Women References for which I also chronic.
In fact, Google has surprised us to change the terms of SEO. If it detects any plagiarism, it degrades the site concerned in the standings.
However, each of my articles were twofold: Here and Women References
So, now, all the books received press service via Women Reviewed References will be on this site. But I'd still be a blog post to inform you of the publication of my column and you put the link to it.

Since August, I have at least thirty books to review, and I've seen those yet to read, I do not think I can do.
I will, at first, to the chronicles of the books that I have "typed in the eye." Then if I have the time, ability and motivation, I would try to make those structures which are less liked.

I will return to the path of the blog, trying to make regular columns and stick to them as was the case before my troubles of the summer!

Kisses to you all and happy reading

- Answer 11 questions and create 11 new for people tagged
- Tag 11 people and make a link to their blogs
- Prevent people tagged

So now, 11 things about me (not that I find 11 things to tell ;) )

1 - I am 31 years old in a few days (February 19, exactly, if you want to offer me a gift lol)

3 - I love the Disney universe. 2 years, children are also on holiday there (good excuse, ;) ) It returns the end of June for 3 days and I can not wait!
4 - I'm hypersensitive. I cry and laugh easily. I know that the office of Hugo birthday in a month, I'll cry with emotion before his joy

Well, 9 out of 11, but it's not bad, huh ;)

FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION AND CENSORSHIP!

Once is not custom, this post is not about the book or reading. But one thing that disgusts me and should be known to the general public.

Indeed, at this very moment, Laurel , an illustrator blogger is a victim of pressure and risk of his blog deleted.
And why? Because a great brand of flea products has not appreciated it publishes on its website a letter from a cat owner who has seen animals die from the use of this product.
I invite you to read his article on the subject here

Yep! This company uses permethrin in its product ingredient that is poisonous to animals!

Strangely, instead of apologizing and recognizing his faults, the company lobbied for Laurel to withdraw his article. She refused, and to avoid problems, a oter the brand name.
Enough for them, now put pressure on the host for the deletion of the blog!

But where do you live? Since when, in France, freedom of expression and information as it is trampled by companies not merely to poison our animals instead of treating them, allow themselves to threaten those who warn?

So, as some have said in comments on various posts Runs this problem, we have to warn people about what's going on.
Because if we do not act now, who knows how far it can go. Soon our floor space, our freedom of speech will be a memory, if the company wins this battle!

So please, pass on the info. Speaking on your blogs, walls, everywhere. For once, the battle of earthen pot against the iron pot to the advantage of justice!

You can read the article on what the poor Lauren lives here

For my part, out of the question to pass it without reacting. Lauren, I support you from my heart and I relays on my various blogs and platforms!

Newsletter

Some have noticed, the blog was down a few hours from Thursday to Friday.
Yep, trying too hard to play the pros and hacking on stuff that I do not control, I completely destroyed my database.
Fortunately, I have a daily backup, and I could reinstall, but not without loss.
Already images. Some items have lost their images. More than 300! It will therefore take me a little time to recover ;)

Most importantly you do not receive, for those registered, the newsletter. Just because it either is not kept on the backup.
So if you still want to follow the blog, I invite you to re-register.

Sorry for the inconvenience ^ ^

Some new

A little desire for change and improvement, some triturages of meninges and hop hop, a new design (which does not satisfy me completely) and a few things that you can find here ^ ^

Already an index. The question arose of how? In alphabetical order, of course, but authors? Because Me, when I look for a book, in general, if I know the title, I do not know the author often.
Title? Yes man, called in reinforcements, let me understand that it could destabilize.
How? Response Rights: Make 2!
Huh? you sure?
Yeah ....

And here

Because I would still like this blog keeps his primary motivation: sharing my reading and made me want to read. So, I had to think of those who, like me, do not care about the author ^ ^

I also changed the names of the tabs and WL PAL (for the uninitiated, cell and read Wish list or want list)
These have also been refurbished. Exit the titles and categories, hello covers
I find it more attractive and readable, because, generally, I selected a book by its cover

My playing is now in picture on the left side at the top (currently Lady R)

I also put a Facebook button for direct access to the blog page (top right)

A little novelty, also, the translation of the blog. The small panels on top of my playing is not used to make nice (well, not that). If you click on the blog should be translated into the selected language.
I'm not sure that translations are nickels, note, but it's still better than nothing.

A partner page was created to render unto Caesar what is Caesar (in my case, the books offered at home editions generous!)

There will be other changes in the coming weeks.
Already, I'm looking to change the pathologically "You'll like" you find at the bottom of each article by the same thing but in pictures. I keep hoping to find my happiness
I am looking for and how to create a truly personalized theme (because there except the banner, I think the limit is) but it is HTML and company, a little big for me ;)

Anyway, already a good result, it's perfect!

Ebook ...

We hear more and more about it, but never really see frequent users.
For almost two years, I regularly look at the question:
An Ebook for or against? If for which?

I admit loved the paper. Touch his book, admire lend. But I am also aware that on the one hand, it takes a crazy place, and secondly, it will one day spend for environmental reasons.
Many questions bothering me about Ebook. The comfort of reading it like a real book? And autonomy level? Convenience? Cost?

I'm planning to re issue a few days ago when one of the members of the Reading Club has raised the issue of the price of books ebook.
For if e-readers are expensive, e-books are an exorbitant cost I have always struggled to understand.
Why, when the paper book costs € 18, its digital equivalent is it to see 12 € 15?
I find these predatory pricing, knowing that there is more than the cost of printing, storage, transportation or sending ...
And according to some studies, many user Ebook thinking the same thing.
I even read that over 80% of holders Ebook have never purchased a digital book! Piracy is legion for this type of support, and, frankly, I can understand!

Anyway, all this to say until they have carefully considered, I decided my turn to go digital book. An additional paper book for the moment. In any case, as long as prices do not decline and that the catalogs will be expanded so little!

My choice was the cheapest I could find: the E book MPMAN COLOREBOOK 7 (79 € Darty)
I did that yesterday, so it will be a little goal I think, or at least incomplete view.
I appreciate this unit being able to adjust the font size, and most importantly, light. I've read a hundred pages without worry.
After a certain period of inactivity (a bit short for readers a little slow, certainly a setting to do?), He died while saving the page of the book you read. So just turn on and offers to return to your reading or choose another.

The memory size is fine (2GB). I could put fifty pounds without issue, and it remains in place. And in case it is not sufficient, it offers the possibility to add an SD card to add some memory.

The manual is provided in all languages (and I was a bit disoriented by opening the package and finding no instructions. Obviously, it is IN the Ebook)

Talk about things that annoy:
I found it a bit big. A little more than a paperback book. It's a bit stupid, because I often lug around much more imposing paperback, but I imagined it much smaller. But the screen is a good size as a pocket ;)
The cable for connecting it to the computer or to charge (the same) is a little short. I would just 50cm. Not practical when you want to read charging. And to ask for the charge ....
Keys, finally, are a little harsh. We must press for the pages turn.

I think it is especially important that I get used to the handling and use. For now, I do not regret my purchase. This is great for use as I intend to do, and for the first price, it is perfect.

I already get fifty pounds .... My PAL is not likely to decrease with this new "toy". But for now, I am delighted.
Suddenly, a new category has emerged: Ebook. Every book I read by this format will appear. I would try to include information publishers, pages and price if I can!
