We met with Lulu-Grenadine with this book.
Personally, the theme has left me a little cold. Passionate about riding, I wish to respect the animal is found. While here, the girl teases her pony to move them, and behaviors that I feel bad when we went horseback riding.
I could go on, but now, my 5 year old son calls to the pony as an extra-curricular activity. And I keep explaining that it is a living being that must be treated with great respect and kindness. And I confess that I would have been very angry if allowed to do the same thing Lulu-Grenadine.
Not to mention the image of the horse that gives this little book. Between a rocky start between the girl and her pony because he, having felt candy in his pocket, pushes and bites, frightening the child, then a pony trotting share with the poor scared kid on his back ... .
Difficult therefore, to agree, as an adult who loves the sport, with this book.
If we go further, the designs are very nice and colorful. Names Lulu-Grenadine and pony Cocoa did much laughter my children for their originality.
However, he ends up giving a rather negative result on my grandfather, who now keeps asking me if "huh, mom, the horses, they do not bite people? Huh that's right, mom, they run super fast not for kids they fall. " Damage to the trust and confidence of my loulou face this discipline.
My youngest of 3 1/2 years, it has remained more distant face this story, since these animals and this discipline is not interested. She liked it, but no more.
Conclusion: Lulu-Grenadine we do not have this book away with it. However, the exuberance and the side of this little prank I liked.
So I wait to see if with another volume, we are more confident
